Listening to other’s fitness stories may prove to be a boring task for some but some stories are surely worth sharing as they can greatly inspire others. This is why I have decided to share my fitness story with everyone. It started when I was new to the corporate world. My job was that of an intern; hence, I didn’t have much say in the matters of the organization. I was merely there for learning purposes.
During the initial days, my colleagues started to make fun of my weight in a lighter way. It did affect me but I never should it as I did not want to depict my weak side in front of them. I just wanted to be included in their gatherings so I kept putting up with their borderline bullish behavior. As time passed, their behavior worsened. When I look back at that time now, I feel so angry at myself that why didn’t I give it back then.
My internship lasted for six weeks and it was, honestly speaking, the toughest time of my life. However, when it was over, I sighed a breath of relief. I was now gearing up for my first contract-based job. There was still some time for it to commence and I thought why not use the spare time for improving my fitness.
The thought of being fit and having a lean figure was enough for me to get going. I immediately joined a fitness program. Initially, it was very tough. The gym was the most boring place for me. Thus, I tried convincing my friend to join me. He, instead, recommended me to try weight loss supplements and depend on them solely. I had limited knowledge about these supplements but I thought of giving them a try but not before doing some research. And I am glad I did that research!
Turns out, my friend didn’t really give me an honest advice. It wasn’t about the use of weight loss supplements but solely depending on them. When I dug up deeper into details, I understood that these products only work if you are paying attention to your diet and working out with full dedication. This is where I realized, there’s no other way but to work hard. So, I prepared myself mentally and got enrolled in a fitness program.
The first day was the toughest day ever. I didn’t know much about using fitness equipment and gears so, it was an alien world for me. It will surely be an understatement if I say that I was nervous on that day. Luckily, I found an old pal there. He turned out to be a blessing in disguise for me. Not only he guided me throughout the first day but he introduced me to his trainer as well. I started training under him and that was the best decision ever.
After some time, I started enjoying my gym sessions. The reason is that my trainer didn’t keep me confined to one area of the gym. He made me do different types of workouts every day so that my gym routine wasn’t monotonous. Every day, I had something new to do, which made the gym sessions quite exciting.
Apart from that, he also helped me with setting up my diet chart. Furthermore, he told me about TeamRoids, an EU-based company that sells real weight loss products. Now, I am fit than ever and quite satisfied with my appearance. During that time of my internship, I had lost all my confidence and remained stressed all day long. The moral of the story here is to never lose hope. Work hard and the results will appear. Moreover, if you are being bullied, speak up for your rights. No joke is funny if it affects your confidence.
